Hockey Canada has adopted the NHL ZERO Tolerance standard of rule enforcement for the 2008-2009 season. This means that there will be many more judgment calls being made by our referees on interference, holding and stick fouls. I am confident that our players, coaches and parents will continue to support our referees with these ethical standards. We continue to work hard to ensure that our officials get the best instruction and evaluation that we can offer, and I know that our Association will continue to produce the best female referees in the Lower Mainland.
